Learned valuable experience in large international companies.



After graduating from Zhejiang University in 2013, I joined Dow Chemical (China) Investment Co., Ltd., working as a technical support and customer application expert in the microbial control department. Dow Chemical is one of the world's top 500 foreign companies and the second largest chemical company in the world, and its compensation and benefits were also considered to be among the top in the industry at that time. Therefore, many students regard it as an ideal target work unit.


With the support of high-quality platform, I have developed good habits and learned valuable experience. First of all, in well-known international enterprises such as Dow, there is a mature talent training mechanism that enables new employees to acquire and master all the skills needed for the job as soon as possible. At the same time, the leaders of my department trusted me enough to let me be on my own, so I grew faster and was recognized by the company, winning the 2017 Dow Hall of Fame Greater China Hall of Fame and Gold award/ Silver Award. After being more comfortable with my work, I began to be curious about the overall operation of the company. In addition to paying attention to the work at hand, I also spend more time communicating with colleagues in different positions and functions, constantly gaining the concept and understanding of the overall operation of the company.


The more I know about the company and the more I know about the industry, the more curious I am and the more I think: from thinking about "how to break through the solidified processes and repetitive work of large international companies", to thinking about "how to promote the development of the industry and make more contributions to the industry". As a result, my future career began to sprout.

It is not an easy decision to give up the big platform, but it is natural to make this decision in order to verify your thinking, realize your personal value, and make a greater contribution to the industry, so I joined Hanning Chemical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. as a co-founder on January 1, 2021.

Microbial targeted prevention and control

Microbial targeted prevention and control is to provide corresponding fungicides, risk management programs and a full set of technical support for various industrial fields, so as to reduce or even avoid the occurrence of microbial pollution. With solid theoretical foundation, rich application experience, and the introduction of big data science, molecular biology and other advanced technology, we creatively put forward the microbial targeted prevention and control system. The advanced nature of this system can be compared as follows: when people get sick and need treatment, some colleagues simply sell drugs-fungicide products like "drugstores"; some peers upgrade to "private clinics" and provide basic solutions through traditional simple testing. And we are more like a "professional hospital", through a variety of new diagnostic methods, for customers to find the "focus", solve problems, but also for customers to do "physical examination", screening risks. Hanning strives to become a "third-class first-class hospital" in the field of industrial microbial prevention and control.


In 2022 we quickly helped a manufacturing giant solve the problem of microbial contamination. At that time, the company came to us for help: in the past three months, thousands of tons of products were covered with red floats, bubbles or even smelly problems. The preservative suppliers they are using simply did a bacteriological test and concluded that it was a microbial contamination problem, but they were told that they needed to increase the dose, but they still did not solve the problem, and there was still a large number of corruption. After we obtained the customer pollution samples, on the one hand, we used molecular biology methods (PCR, etc.) to do microbial taxonomic analysis, made clear the proportion of various microbial species that caused the pollution, analyzed the possible sources of pollution, and further identified the dominant bacteria, and found that they were all bacteria prone to variation, and then passed the drug resistance analysis and test. Determine the tolerance of these contaminated bacteria to different bactericidal components, design a new antiseptic scheme, and control them effectively.


On the other hand, we also went to this factory to conduct detailed microbial testing and found some problems in the design of operating procedures and the quality of some raw materials. We comprehensively checked for leaks and filled gaps, and provided detailed risk points discovered and recommended treatment measures. Report to help customers prevent pollution. Throughout the process, we intuitively witnessed the customer's initial sad face to relieved and safe production after the problem was solved. Therefore, we deeply felt the significance of this cause: using the power of technology to solve problems for customers and create disruptive growth. The social values we expected are also realized.

Life Sciences provides high-performance biological buffers for in vitro diagnostic reagents, biopharmaceuticals, etc. This field has long been limited by international companies, so we hope to make excellent domestic products, cooperate with application development technology, and undertake the country's demand for "localized substitution". At the same time, we are also increasing our layout efforts, continuing to invest, and making more contributions to this field.


In general, our current operations and response to the market are very rapid. We continue to develop and find advanced technologies and methods, and quickly invest in application development and production practice to maintain a leading position in the industry. In the past three years, we have obtained 16 patent authorizations, and there are still many patents in the pipeline under approval, which fully proves Hanning's innovative ability.
